The Cooper Bussmann Division is responsible for manufacturing and developing equipment necessary for protecting electrical circuits, thus a wide variety of fuses for electrical, electronics and transportation systems. The Division is also tasked with manufacturing inductors and capacitors for the electronics industry. Cooper Bussmann also offers customers specialized engineering, training and testing services focused on malfunction related downtime reduction, workplace safety and compliance with applicable legislation. The company, located in St. Louis, Missouri, was founded in 1914 and it has developed a global standard for the electrical circuit protection domain. During more than 90 years of operation, Cooper Bussman has patented in excess of 3 000 designs, more than 250 of which are valid to this day.
